State-Required Provisions
FLORIDA EVICTION NOTICE REQUIREMENTS (Fla. Stat. § 83.56(3)): For nonpayment of rent, the landlord must serve a written notice giving the tenant 3 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays) to pay the rent or vacate the premises.
FLORIDA CURE REQUIREMENTS (Fla. Stat. § 83.56(2)): For non-compliance with the lease agreement (e.g. unauthorized guests, pets), the landlord must give the tenant a 7-day written notice to cure the violation or vacate.
FLORIDA TERMINATION OF TENANCY (Fla. Stat. § 83.57): A tenancy from month-to-month may be terminated by either party giving not less than 15 days' written notice prior to the end of any monthly period.
